Johan Cruyff was the best player in the history of Dutch soccer. Renowned all over the world for his impeccable technique & reputation as creative leader in the field, Cruyff made his name as captain of Ajax Amsterdam, FC Barcelona and the LA Aztecs.
Cruyff was the architect of the famous Dutch Total Soccer training philosophy, and was the perfect example of a complete soccer player who could take over any position in the field while excelling in his own position.
What is taught in this class:
This advanced class focuses on each aspect of the game that Cruyff excelled at. Players will be brought into game situations in which they need to accelerate on the ball with both feet and implement Cruyff’s hallmark moves at the highest possible pace.
In addition the coaches focus on instructing to make quick creative attacking plays, looking up for the best options and the quickest ways to play numbers towards the goal. The class emphasizes situations that are based on full game pressure and includes Speed & Agility training.
Below is a sample of professional players using Cruyff’s signature moves during game play. Cruyff’s skill moves will be a focal point for the class curriculum.
Who should take this class:
Advanced players looking to speed up their ball handling and improve creative attacking plays. Players are expected to master basic ball handling skills and are familiar with speed dribbling and moving away from pressure prior to attending this class. This is an advanced class!
Age Groups: 7-9 Years & 10-14 Years
*To register for this class players must be currently on a Flight 1, 2, a Select, or Premier Team OR by permission of DTS Staff.
