Intermediate level, all ages. The DTS GK Academy Green is the first step in becoming a top level goalkeeper. Goalkeepers who enter the Green level have had some experience with the position and have made the decision that this is the position they want to specialize in. The curriculum is based on the fundamentals of goalkeeping, it is important to lay a good foundation from which to continue your development. Goalkeepers will be instructed in catching, throwing, rolling, falling, jumping, timing and communication. Muscle memory training is a big part of the Green level Academy program as reflexes and reaction is an essential trademark for goalkeepers. Goalkeepers need to pass all the fundamental aspects of the course to progress to the next level. Because the main focus will be on each individual goalkeeper and their development the class is open for players age 9-13.
