Advanced level, ages 11-14. The DTS GK Academy Orange is the second level of goalkeeping training. Goalkeepers in this course have completed DTS GK Academy Green and have a solid foundation. Goalkeepers will be challenged dynamically in this 60 minute training session.
This class will focus on the following essential skills:
-Catching (Difficult high & low balls)
-Reacting To The High Ball (Positioning/Technique/
-Advanced Positioning In Net (Attacking the Ball, Anticipation/Read Play)
-Diving (Technique Focused – Low Dive, High Dive & Body Positioning)
-Break Away Situations / 1 on 1 with attacker (Advantage attacker)
-Coordination & Body Strength
-Jumping
-Leadership/Communication
This class features game like situations to help improve players understanding of the position.
