DTS Select Mission
DTS Summer Select is an advanced summer program of Dutch Total Soccer. The summer select teams have players coming from both within New Jersey and outside the State, will compete in competitive tournaments during the summer.
DTS Select is committed to offering quality training and coaching by our professional coaches to the youth players of New Jersey. All trainers and coaches involved with DTS Select are educated at the C.I.O.S. Academy or the KNVB in the Netherlands. They all have great experience training and coaching youth teams in Holland at a variety of levels. They are true teachers of the game.
Program Description
The DTS Summer Select program’s goal has always been to provide the highest level of training to our players. Practices begin Sunday nights in March 2013. Until June, each team will practice twice a month on Sunday evenings. Once your spring season is over, DTS will be practicing twice a week until the tournaments begin. Scheduling specifics will be listed on each team’s individual page. There will also be a team camp in the evening for five nights in June which is included in program price!
Each team will have professional trainers assigned to them throughout the duration of the program. In July 2013 each DTS team will compete in 3 tournaments throughout the tri-state region. Uniforms and tournament fees are included in the program price.
There are 2 DTS camps that will take place approximately the third week in June and another week again in August. These camps are not included in the program price BUT IT’S STRONGLY recommended that DTS players attend for additional practice. These weeks are deeply discounted to encourage your participation. In addition, in February 2013, there will be a Team Building Night held at Soccer Centers. This night is to bring all coaches and players together for a night of games and camaraderie. Team Building night registration and additional information can be found below.
Be aware that DTS Summer Select is not meant to take the place of the players existing team. These Select teams are to be used for additional training for the players. Parents will have to sign a waiver that players will not be recruited to join other teams or to form a DTS regular season team. Soccer Centers is very cognizant about disrupting regular season teams.
DTS Summer Select is an Academy under US Club, if your child is already carded with another team, DTS will be the secondary team, which allows for dual carding. This will not conflict with your spring season.
Our DTS Summer Select program will be a great experience for the parent, coach and child. Soccer Centers works very hard to make this a positive, fun experience for all.

Cost:
-Total cost of the DTS Summer Select Program is $600. A deposit of $200 is required upon notification that you have made the team. Registration link will be posted on the website. (Total balance will be due by 2/1/2013).
