DTS “Total Training Clinic” is structured around essential skills ALL players need to be successful on the pitch! This session is open to all travel players ages 7-13. Each training session will implement key topics such as ball mastery, shooting techniques, passing/receiving + small sided gameplay/scrimmages.
This full day clinics will have all players feeling confident on the ball & ready to try new skills during real gameplay.
Training Format/Sample Curricula:
- 9:00-9:30am – Dynamic Warm-up
- 9:30-10:15am – Technical Skills Workshop (Ball Mastery/Passing/Receiving)
- 10:15-10:45am – Small sided gameplay & Utilization of Skill Moves
- 10:45-11:30am – Striking/Shooting Workshop
- 11:30am-12:30pm – Lunch
- 12:30-1:00pm – Shooting Accuracy & Power Competition
- 1:00-1:45pm – 1v1 Situations and Creative Playmaking
- 1:45-2:30pm – Small Sided Games/Scrimmages
- 2:30-3:00pm – Training Session Breakdown + Skills Contest
